The website changes announced earlier have been completed. It took much less time than we thought.
For those who didn’t see the older post, the changes are nothing drastic.
We have gone through many changes regarding the photo gallery on our website. At first it was on a page named Image Gallery. Photos then went to Facebook, and then to our ZenPhoto gallery. However, due to certain site issues, we have decided to put all our photos on Picasa, and let you view the list of albums straight from the website.
Samiksha Foundation will be a part of the Rajyothsava Celebrations at Brigade Millenium, JP Nagar. This event which will be held on 21st November. Dr. Manjari Bhatnagar, Mrs. Vidyavathi and Mrs. Sandhya Sharad will be present ton promote the Foundation.
The Make A Wish Foundation of India, Bangalore Division has joined our mission as a resource partner. We would like to welcome Mr. Vijay Ladha and his team from Make A Wish to Samiksha Foundation.
Our home page has a new addition: a blidget. It is the little pink box on the right, underneath the table of links.
Every time we post something on the blog, it will show up in a box on our home page. This makes it easier for you to know when we have updated the blog.
We have a new photo gallery on our website! All photos we take will now be posted there.

Our website had a page titled Everyday Stories, where we wrote down our experiences while working with the children at Kidwai.
This page has now moved to the blog, so that we can update easily. It also has a new name.

We got our site checked by the World Wide Web Consortium, who basically set all the guidelines for Web designers. (They rule the web.)
Their software found our site to be up to the mark. It should also work fine in any browser.
We are going to be represented at the 2009 Global Peace Games for Children and Youth, at Bangalore. It is being held at Banaswadi- Maruti sevanagar, on the 19th of Sept.This is a whole day event with games such as football, hockey and other stall games. Everyone is welcome to participate. This will help us raise funds too.
We will have a birthday party for all the children at Kidwai whose birthdays are in August. The party will be on the 6th of September (a Sunday) from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Kapoor Ward of Kidwai Hospital. Anyone willing to contribute (cash only) is welcome to do so.
