We will have a birthday party for all the children at Kidwai whose birthdays are in August. The party will be on the 6th of September (a Sunday) from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Kapoor Ward of Kidwai Hospital. Anyone willing to contribute (cash only) is welcome to do so. Samiksha Foundation- Caring for Children with Cancer is now a registered trust. It was registered and accepted on the 7th of August 2009 at Koramangala, Bangalore, India.
The application for the Income tax exemption for donations has been made.
The volunteers meeting earlier scheduled on 14th August will now be held on the 15th.
Due to the current H1N1 alert issued by the government, our activities at Kidwai will be scaled down for the next two weeks. This is keeping in mind the safety of both the volunteers and the children. Anyone who chooses to go there on their own will be doing so at their own risk.
We will have a meeting for all our volunteers who are currently active at Kidwai Memorial on Friday, August 14. This meeting will be to schedule our activities and volunteers’ time commitments at the paediatric ward, for the months of September and October.
